Ashok Leyland, the foremost commercial vehicle manufacturer in India and a flagship company of the Hinduja Group, has inked a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh government. This strategic partnership is geared towards establishing an integrated commercial vehicle and electric bus manufacturing facility within the state.
Marking a significant milestone in Ashok Leyland’s expansion journey, this facility will represent the company’s maiden manufacturing plant in Uttar Pradesh. The MoU was formally signed by Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, the Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Mr. Shenu Agarwal, the Managing Director and CEO of Ashok Leyland.
