Dubai-settled terminal administrator DP World is returning Indonesia in organization with Canadian annuity reserve, Caisse de depot et position du Québec (CDPQ).
The pair has consented to an arrangement with Indonesian combination Maspion Group to fabricate a $1.2bn worldwide holder port and coordination’s park in the Indonesian city of Gresik, close to the East Javan port of Surabaya.
Development is required to start in the second from last quarter of 2021, with business tasks planned to begin in 2023. DP World Maspion East Java will have a plan limit of up to 3m Teu’s.
DP World had another office in Surabaya, an inheritance from its takeover of P&O Ports; however it chose to release this terminal concession in 2019.
