KOCHI MIV LOGISTICS has been awarded as the Top Performing CFS for the year 2019-2020. The award was distributed on the International Customs day Celebration 2021 held at Customs House on 27th January 2021.
MIV CFS is strategically located at a distance of 0.5 Km from the ICTT terminal, Vallrpadam.The Container Freight Station is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and technologically advanced systems backed by best-in-market standards in safety and security of people, cargo and containers. This newly set up facility is well equipped to handle cargo and containers including hazardous cargo as per the international Maritime Dangerous Goods Standards.
In connection to the International Customs Day Celebrations, Customs Department honours the top performers of the year among the different stake holders viz., Exporters, Importers, Steamer Agents, CFS’s and Customs Brokers. MIV CFS has been selected as the TOP PERFORMING CFS for the year 2019-2020.MIV CFS receiving this award for the second year in a row. The award to the CFS started last year and MIV CFS has been selected continuously for the past two has the matter of their effort and struggle invest in this filed.
They have total yard area of 18 acres (460,000 sqft),800 TEUs capacity ,50,000 sqft Warehouse storage (Export+Import),10,000 sqft Bonded Warehouse (Import),40 nos. Reefer containers plug points.
Having Yard equipments of 3 nos. Reach Stacker / 5 Forklifts, +1 paper catcher and other yard equipments like crane , JCB, Hitachi, Tip Trailor for scrap etc.
