Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) handled 6,050,928 TEUs from April 2022 to March 2023, a 6.4% increase over the previous fiscal year.

According to the statement, the terminals of the Indian major port reported the following results:

  • Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals (BMCT) – 1,714,246 TEUs (+38%)
  • Nhava Sheva International Container Terminal (NSICT) – 1,096,954 TEUs (+16%)
  • APM Terminals (APMT) – 1,846,920 TEUs (-1%)
  • Nhava Sheva India Gateway Terminal (NSIGT) – 1,137,034 TEU (-4%)
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Port Container Terminal (JNPCT) – 205,907 TEUs
  • Nhava Sheva Freeport Terminal (NSFT) – 49,707 TEUs

JNPA handled 6,504 container rakes and 1,022,951 TEUs from April 2022 to March 2023, compared to 6,278 rakes and 1,008,079 TEUs in the previous fiscal year.

Additionally, 521,890 TEUs were handled at JNPA in the last month of the fiscal year, April 2023, which is 5% more than the 497,914 TEUs handled in the same month in 2022.

BMCT handled 188,886 TEUs (+30%), NSICT handled 103,305 TEUs (+46%), APMT handled 99,880 TEUs (-37%), NSIGT handled 90,998 TEUs (-8%) and NSFT handled 38,821 TEUs.
