Chennai Port Trust has recorded landmark performance by handling 1,51,754 TEUs during the month of December 2020. The above note worthy achievement surpassing the previous record of 1,50,576 TEUs during the month of September 2018.
Chennai port’s second container Terminal Chennai International Terminal Pvt. Ltd., has record handling containers of 93,484 TEUs during the month of December 2020, surpassing its previous record of 89,449 TEUs during the month of July 2019.
Shr.P.Raveendran, Chairman, Chennai Port Trust, appreciated the efforts taken by the Terminal Operators namely M/s. Chennai Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd., M/s. Chennai International Terminal Pvt. Ltd., and the port officials for the above achievement.
