The global issues faced by the shipping industry continue to provide the industry with significant challenges with global demand for containers continues at unpredicted levels.
Regional feeder operators are increasing rates due increasing cost pressures, vessel charter rates are now at all-time record levels with a shortage of vessels to charter. In addition to this port congestion in Asia is also adding additional cost burdens.
As a consequence of these cost pressures ANL wish to advise a rate restoration applicable to all shipments from North and South East Asia, Indian Sub-continent Middle East / Gulf to Pacific Islands for all shipments effective from 1st July 2021.
