General cargo ship with container capacity ALICA capsized at Ho Chi Minh port, Nha Be, at around 0900 LT Apr 26, while about to set sail for Indonesia. The ship rested on bottom portside, with most of her hull and superstructure remaining above waterline. Of 54 containers on board, 18 slipped into water, some floating in the area, and some taken away by river stream. Obviously, it’s a stability loss, caused by faulty ballasting and cargo disposition.
