India’s exports to CIS and Central Asian region has been modest over years in spite of the potential that exists. one of the impediments for low trade volume is absence of efficient logistics. To overcome this issue, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) in association with Ministry of Civil Aviation is taking initiative to create a Green Corridor between IGI Delhi Airport and important countries in CIS. The overall objective of this initiative is to identify the trade lanes as well as product mix which require facilitation for boosting our export in this region.
To elaborate on the facilities available at IGI for trade and also to understand expectations of industry under this initiative, FIEO in association with DIAL is organising an interactive session as “Facilitating Export to CIS from IGI Delhi”.
Senior officials from DIAL shall be present during the session and shall elaborate on the current infrastructure/ connectivity options available for exports to CIS.
Members exporting or planning to export CIS from Delhi Airport and invited to attend this Session and confirm their participation at the earliest.
