FESCO Transportation Group has acquired 9,000 new containers as part of the implementation of its development strategy.

With this action, the fleet of the Russian transportation company will now exceed 100,000 TEU.

FESCO said that 3,000 forty-foot and 1,000 twenty-foot containers have already been built at the factory in the Chinese city of Dalian and accepted to the FESCO fleet.

Another 5,000 forty-foot boxes will be delivered to the fleet of the company in the current month. These containers will be immediately sent for loading to ports of China for further shipment by FESCO foreign trade lines.

In 2021, the Moscow-based group has also acquired 300 new forty-foot refrigerated containers of increased capacity as part of the strategy on updating the container fleet of its subsidiary Dalreftrans.
