The team of 27 Fire Service personnel, led by Shri K. Subramanian, Chief Fire Officer, Cochin Port Fire Service, who were deployed for the firefighting activities at the Brahmapuram Waste Treatment Plant, were felicitated by Dr. M. Beena IAS, Chairperson, Cochin Port Authority. Shri Vikas Narwal IAS, Deputy Chairperson, Shri T. Prabhu IOFS, Chief Vigilance Officer, Capt. Joseph J. Alapat, Deputy Conservator, Shri S.K. Sahu, Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer, Shri Vipin R. Menoth, Traffic Manager, Shri V. Thuraipandian, Chief Mechanical Engineer and Dr. K.I. Muthukoya, Chief Medical Officer (i/c) were present.
One fire tender of Cochin Port and 27 Fire Service personnel were on fire fighting exercises at the Brahmapuram from 4th to 14th March, 2023. Shri K. Subramanian, Chief Fire Officer described the toughest situation in which the fire brigade members had to work along with teams from Fire & Rescue Force, Govt. of Kerala, BPCL, CIAL, PLL.
Dr. M. Beena IAS, Chairperson appreciated the commendable efforts made by the fire brigade team of Cochin Port in the very adverse conditions, that too for a long period. Chairperson handed over plaques and certificates in honour of their exemplary service.
