Hapag Lloyd provide you with a high level of service and uninterrupted liner services and equipment supply, Hapag-Lloyd will re-implement the Heavy Lift Charge (HLC) for all 20’ container types on the westbound trade from India Subcontinent Westbound – Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Hazira to North Europe.

Effective from March 15, 2021 and valid until further notice, the HLC from India Subcontinent Westbound – Nhava Sheva, Mundra and Hazira to North Europe will be as follows:

  • USD 1000 per 20’ container over 27.999 tons Gross weight

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged. Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply in addition.

Peak Season Surcharge – Hazira (India) to Jebel Ali, Colombo and Chittagong

Please be aware of the following Peak Season Surcharge (PSS).

Effective 15 March 2021 for all cargo loading from Hazira (India) to Jebel Ali (UAE) and Colombo (Sri Lanka)

  • $100 per 40’ Standard Container
  • $100 per 40’ High Cube Container

Effective 15 March 2021 for all cargo loading from Hazira (India) to Chittagong (Bangladesh)

$200 per 40’ High Cube Container
