The Center began the ‘Vande Bharat Mission’ on May 6 to help those abandoned abroad because of the novel Covid pandemic arrive at their objections by means of global bringing home flights.
As indicated by the Civil Aviation Ministry, 15,722 bringing home flights were worked by the Air India Group under the Vande Bharat Mission till February 1, continuing 21.29 lakh travelers. Of these, 7,856 were inbound flights conveying 12.63 lakh travelers and 7,866 were outbound trips with 8.65 lakh fliers.
