Cochin Steamer Agents Association and Rotary Club of Cochin West jointly organised a mega blood donation drive at Cochin Port Trust Hospital. This was the 17th blood donation drive organised by Cochin Steamer Agents Association and NCC Wing of SH College Thevara together during the past 6 years. Mr. Prakash Iyer , Regional Manager M/s. Marine Container Services India Pvt Ltd, welcomed the gathering while President Rotary Club Cochin West Mr. K. Maidas (JT Shipping & Logistics India) presided over the function. Adv. Anil Kumar, Honourable Mayor of Kochi Corporation has innaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. In his speech, He said that CSSA does a lot of community services and alongwith inviting Rotary Clubs to come forward with many such activities in association with Cochin Corporation. Dy. Commissioner of Customs Sri. Mahendra Verma felicitated Honourable mayor by adourning Ponnada while Adv. Joy Thattil , Rotary Cochin West welcomed with bouquet. Mr. M Krishnakumar President Cochin Steamer Agents Association expressed vote of thanks and assured to the community he and his team for further support to the people of state. President also announced that for any need at any point of time, CSAA team will be there with needy people.

Staff Nurses and other staffs of Cochin Port Trust Hospital under leadership of Dr. Roy Thomas (CMO) were another attraction who made all arrangements to receive donours while maintaining covid19 protocol. A total of more than 60 donors were present who volunteered for donation.
