Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced the start of a new intermodal solution between Asia and Europe available from 14 April.
The new product will combine both a sea and rail service departing from China, Korea and Japan to Europe, via Vladivostok and Vostochniy with further feeder connections from St Petersburg.
From the Russian port, cargoes can be shipped directly to some of the major European hubs such as Antwerp, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Le Havre through the company’s European feeder network offering extensive coverage of ports and inland connections on the continent, according to MSC’s announcement.

The Swiss-based carrier has published the following transit times for its new Asia-Europe intermodal solution.
